When it's time to move into full time care...

It's natural to want to live in your own home for as long as possible. No one wants to be 'put in a care home'. However, as we age, the strive for continued independence can actually lead to isolation, loneliness, struggle and confusion.

If your loved one has reached the stage where daily living is a real struggle and it's no longer practical or manageable to live at home, we'd like to offer you the perfect solution with our ResidentialNursing Care and Respite care services.

The best decision you can make?

Far from being a negative step, your loved one becoming a resident at Westerleigh may prove to be the best decision you've ever made. In fact, the most common comment we have from residents and families after they've moved in is "I wish we'd done it so much sooner".

You'll find your loved one is likely to blossom here. Freed from the many challenges of daily living at home, they'll be able to make new friends, join in a variety of activities and enjoy life to the full again.

But don't take our word for it. Read the testimonials below from other residents' families who felt this way.

My husband has been with you for nearly a year now and I would like to thank you all for making him so happy, it gives me peace of mind when I leave him each day that  I know he is happy.

Mrs. M Hedger
Wife of Resident

I was in respite after having COVID infection and I feel honoured to have been placed in Westerleigh Nursing Home. The staff and care were of a very high standard and would recommend this facility to all. The catering standard was that of a 3/5 star hotel and can find no fault with this.

Ian C
Resident

I joined Westerleigh in 1988, and since then have seen many changes, but what has remained constant is the desire of staff to give Residents comfort, care and a smile each time they see them.
